So we tried out those ‘do dungeons as a guild for achievements’ and it went great until the verrrry last three seconds we glitched out a boss at the Shado-Pan monastery. And then we were like ‘and next we’ll do raid runs! And show them all!’ but it turns out you need at least eight players for that and we are a small but powerful guild of three.
Oh well. Maybe next life. We’re already maxing out our guild bank every two days on just three players, I can’t imagine a bank situation that’s fair for eight. No matter how much sad mammoth I’m willing to make my dwarf eat to make room in the tabs.
I hope when I am old, I will remember how we would witheringly say ‘mechanics‘ about a game function before doing terribly at it.
I got my mechagnome Krome up to level 30! That means FLIGHT.
For her flying mount, I chose the Wonder Wing because I got it in the process of unlocking her and it felt right. The wings are kind of offputting in flight though. But I’m committed by this point, honestly. I might switch out her Gearhopper ‘Shiny’ for the pet version of the Wonder Wing and name IT ‘Shiny’ to keep the joke going, but I don’t know. Feeling cute.
Also I updated her outfit to celebrate her brand new level 30 and no longer needing to be in costume file ‘noobiewarlock2’

Realized I had enough misc. Darkmoon tickets on various characters to acquire the Noble(wo)man cosmetic set from Darkmoon Faire.
I learned something important while doing this – while the time for a cosmetic set’s ‘sell back’ cooldown is now real time, not game time, you need to log back into the character holding the cosmetic set once the trade-in has expired before it’ll be added to your transmog options. Had a bit of a startle there!
I dressed up my guild bank toon, Keeton, as he is a mage of leisure these days:

Today in Guild Night we found out how many guild members you need to get the ‘guild run’ achievement for a dungeon!
It’s three!
Now you know that my guild has been just two people for years. But now that we’ve unlocked player number three, watch out Azeroth. We’ll moonfire your grandma for a gold coin.
Well, it’s uhhh some time into the new expansion and I took a little break early on to have a teensy weensy nervous breakdown about other unrelated stuff and so I’m finally starting actively playing again besides the two hours I do each week with my guild where we fuck around in old content (Currently doing Draenor’s Shadowmoon Valley! WHERE ARE THE SPOREGGONS?) and it’s interesting! It’s hard on my eyes, unlike Bastion, everything in Maldraxxus is basically kinda the same colour and I keep being surprised when there’s another npc there that I just couldn’t see before.
The voice actors for the House of Plagues is great, by the way. And I love the design of their Margrave. And I got a cute lil’ plagueborn slime pet for helping this nice zombie who thinks I’m his apprentice and I’m sure that isn’t a sign of something to come.
There’s a chest near the questing area and I can’t figure out how to get to it (Plaguefallen Chest) and it SEEMED like I climb the giant spinal cord? Anyway after two tries I said ‘not today, Satan’ and went to go kill a lich which is concrete action.
I ended the night on collecting images of the makeovers of my dwarf rogue Hildsgarde and my human paladin Pennielope.
